Samsung CLP-300 product overview

The Samsung CLP-300 has roughly the same desktop footprint as a standard mono laser printer, and half that of a traditional colour laser. The price of the CLP-300 is also around high what you would normally pay for an average colour laser printer and this makes it accessible to the home user. Expensive printer cartridges are another thing that make colour laser printers inaccessible to the home user but the Samsung have tackle this problem by reducing the size of the Samsung CLP-300 toner cartridges to make them more affordable. A set of Samsung toner cartridges for the CLP-300 costs around twice as much as a set of inkjet cartridges, but by reducing the size means they print less than the average toner cartridges 2,000 pages black and 3,000 pages colour, but still maintain a good cost per page of 1.8p black and 8.7p colour.  The CLP-3000 offers average print quality in both black and colour printing and only drops below average when printing particularly high resolution images such as photographs. The print speed of 16ppm (pages per minute) in black and 4ppm colour provided in the printers manually are accurate which is a pleasant surprise as it’s usually something that is greatly exaggerated by other manufacturers. Another pleasant surprise is the build quality of the CLP-300 which is very good, even part feels well made and should stand up to the tails of everyday use.
